CGP Tampa Bay Meeting
The Disney organization is known for its superb customer service and marketing. What if we could apply Disney-like techniques to planned giving? This session, based on Wayne Olson's book, The Disney Difference, shows how Disney accomplishes so much, often on a limited budget. We will learn ways we can use Disney-like methods to reach and retain donors. We may not take our planned giving donors to the park, but we can give them a Disney-like "wow" in everything we do. At the end of this session attendees will be inspired to go out and implement new ideas and creative concepts immediately to make a difference for themselves, their donors and their organizations.

Wayne Olson is the Gift Planning Officer for Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City, Utah. Prior to that, he was president of Wayne Olson Consulting LLC, where he advised corporations and charities on fundraising, sales, customer service and building stronger relationships with customers and constituents. He is a leading expert on planned giving and donor relations. He is an attorney with more than 20 years experience in the nonprofit sector and has worked with donors on tens of millions of dollars in donations and helped countless nonprofits build effective and dynamic fundraising and planned giving programs. Wayne is a sought-after trainer, consultant and speaker on motivation, customer service and leadership. In 2014 Fundraising Success Magazine honored him with “The Most Inspirational Speaker of the Year” award.
