Marcus has been trained in the Courageous Conversation About Race Protocol and Facilitation for Social Change Masterclass. He attended the 2019 Foundation staff tour of civil rights museums and historical sites to advance his understanding of the history of race equity and social change.

Marcus’ past positions include, Director of Development for Eckerd Connects, Development Officer at St. Petersburg College Foundation and Marketing Manager/Regional Director of the Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay. He served as a trustee of the Foundation 2016-17. He graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. degree in Political Science.

Marcus is a proud 4th generation Pinellas County native, spending much of his childhood between Clearwater and St. Petersburg. He currently resides in Palm Harbor with his wife and two young sons.
